PHP Melody v1.8.1

Hey guys,

The patch for PHP Melody v1.8 is now [url=http://www.phpsugar.com/customer/][b]available for download[/b][/url].
[b]This is an important patch[/b] as some v1.8 sites are currently affected by the recent JQuery and PHP updates.

[b]Issues Fixed in v1.8.1[/b]

* PHP 5.4+ compatibility issue
* Front End & Admin Area issues with the layout and functionality, caused by the recent JQuery update
* Comment listings issue (found when there were only two comments in the list)
* Language files were updated as some were missing the translation for the word “video”
* Couple of JavaScript issues/errors
* Robots.txt was updated to exclude certain files from being indexed into the search results
* Youtube source fix for IPv6 issue
* Vimeo https:// links are now accepted
* DailyMotion source fix
* Article categories drop-down menu fix
* Admin Area login fix (previously it prompted the user to log in twice)
* The problem that prevented the Admin from creating a new page
* B52 and Cinema theme fixes (B52′s issue with the homepage/featured player; Cinema’s issue with the “description” dropdown)

* If your PHP Melody site uses Mobile Melody or any of our premium themes, please download the latest version of those add-ons from the [url=http://www.phpsugar.com/customer/]Customer Area[/url] (the [i]Download Products[/i] page). If your current premium theme is heavily modified, use only the following files from the latest package:

Kudos on the patch Andrew, fixing those bugs means a lot to us. Nevertheless, I have a question about the Bamboo template, will that be updated anytime soon or you're discontinuing it? Cos' I'm yet to make use of the one I purchased.

I got this message again after succesfuly udate: The recent update requires a database update as well. Click here to complete the update.

When I click to complete update again I got this message: Warning! This update works only with version 1.8. This site is currently uses version 1.8.1. Log into your customer area account to download any required updates.

The update was succesfully, i don`t understand....

@kalashnik21 - Remove the [file]/admin/db_update.php[/file] file.

Yes, for that to work please clear the cache.

Delete all files from [file]/Smarty/templates_c/[/file] [b]except [/b].[file]htaccess[/file] and [file]index.html[/file]

Thanks Andrew, Comment issue is solved and nice to see that the Dutch file i have translated is part of the new version
When there in the future a new version with text that need to be translated, you can contact me and i will be happy to translate it.

This evening i will spend to compare the updated files with my files and do all the changes by hand
Maybe its a idea to create a file by a update that tells what has been changed in with file?
This way users that has changed the basic code, dont need to compare every file hand by hand.

I've updated to 1.8.1 and when i try to add tags which are from two or more letters it didn't allow it instead it goes to the submit button

The update didn't fix the admin area jquery conflicts. It is still the same; menu doesn't open when hover the mouse, can't select any option (edit) when try to modify a video...etc

Front end jquer issues seem to be fixed.

any thought?
