Following file is missing from the PHP Melody update file (1.9-2.0):
[code].htaccess[/code]
Embed codes won't work without an update to your 1.9 .htaccess file.

Add this code below the tags code in the .htaccess file to make the embed code work:
[code]RewriteRule ^embed/([^/]+)$ embed.php?vid=$1[/code]

So, lets lets get back to PHPmelody.
Last version I've checked was 1.9 the main site was working OK on my server but NOT the admin panel.
Also Ultimate regnow admin panel is a no go for me.
Currently I'm running ubuntu 13.04 on my server, which means latest MYSQL, Apache etc...
What is so specific with an admin panel? What framework or whatever has been used to develop this?
I'm still waiting for this answer for over 6 months!

Thanks for updating the issue with .htaccess brownbloodz. We didn't include this file to avoid any issues with existing installations, but I overlooked the embed requirement.

@grofzr - There may be an error that's getting suppressed. See if you can enable error reporting and get back to me. We don't use any framework, but we do have different functions in the backend.

The facebook button has been replaced with a floating addthis.com widget which brings Google+ and Twitter sharing buttons. You can easily restore the Facebook Like button under the video by editing the "watch-video.tpl" file from your /templates folder.

I have updated my site to 2.0, but on Opera, it doesn't show the "Related / Popular" videos to the right the video on the video page, it shows at the bottom of the page, is this a issue with the new css file?

Update: This is actually happening with all my browsers, but have only noticed this since I updated my site to 2.0, I tried over writing the video page with the older one, same with older css files and still have this problem, anyone know why?

Is this still available? And where do I find it in 2.0?

I recently upgraded my website to 2.0 but got into some real big issue. All the youtube videos have stopped playing. I m using the proxy plugin but even the admin youtube import (that does not use the proxy) does not work with or without proxy and if i try, the admin would keep loading irrespective of wherever I click until I close the tab/window. This is really frustrating.

I even created a test site to check all this but the same behavior is found.

Please help me I m loosing traffic after my website has got really high ranked!

Earlier in this thread Andrew talked of making a transition from older PHP Melody versions with the Artist Field to the new 2.0 with Custom Fields.
