[solved] Excessive usage of resources(CPU+RAM)

Hi guys,

Mi friend have a website(a phpmelody script 1.67) , and told me that he have problems with all webhostings because his phpmelody1.67 need a lot of CPU+RAM to run and the server is always overloaded.He use a shared host.
He don't host any video on his server.
Now,I want to use me to this script for a website,but I don't like this problem.
My friend have 15000 videos submitted.
Is normal that phpmelody use that large amount of resources?Can only run on VPS?

Yes, you can run PHP Melody on a VPS.

At around 15,000 videos, your friend should also switch to a VPS.

Shared hosting accounts have low tolerances when it comes to resources.
